Who are we helping?
We are still in the Process of selecting our next family. Here is what we take into consideration:
At Mission Minded Business, we take the selection of each family seriously. We follow a thoughtful and strict set of criteria to ensure the home is placed in the hands of a family who will not only steward it well, but also use it as a beacon of light in their community. Families are carefully vetted through interviews — typically with both parents present (exceptions are made for single parents in special circumstances). Priority is given to households with children under 12, a strong reputation in the neighborhood, and no involvement with drugs, alcohol abuse, or gang activity. We partner with local churches to identify families who are either already involved or are open to becoming part of a church community, with the goal of helping them grow as future leaders where they live.

Build Days: February 9–11
Adventure Day: February 12 – Acatenango Volcano & Antigua ExplorationWe depart the U.S. on February 8 and arrive in Guatemala the same day. We’ll spend three days building a home for a local family in need, followed by a full adventure day hiking Acatenango, one of Guatemala’s most active volcanoes, and exploring the historic city of Antigua. You’ll share meals and experiences alongside local families and volunteers. Return flights are on February 14.

What’s Included
Your $1,000 deposit secures your spot and covers:
All meals during the trip
Hotel accommodations

Entry and guided tours of the local sites
Safety coordination and full support from the MMB team

To reserve your spot, you’ll submit a $1,000 deposit that covers all meals, transportation, hotel accommodations, and excursions during the trip. In addition to the deposit, we highly encourage a separate donation from you or your business to help fund the materials and labor for the home build — this generosity is what makes the project possible. If you're joining us strictly as a volunteer and are unable to contribute financially toward the build, please let us know in your reservation form so we can plan accordingly.
