Who are we helping?
We follow a thoughtful and strict set of criteria to ensure the home is placed in the hands of a family who will not only steward it well, but also use it as a beacon of light in their community. Families are carefully vetted through interviews — typically with both parents present (exceptions are made for single parents in special circumstances). Priority is given to households with children under 12, a strong reputation in the neighborhood, and no involvement with drugs, alcohol abuse, or gang activity. We partner with local churches to identify families who are either already involved or are open to becoming part of a church community, with the goal of helping them grow as future leaders where they live.

The deposit is 1000$. This inlcudes your hotel, 3 meals a day for the whole week, Adventures, and trasnportation. We take care of everything for you.
For the building of the house we ask for a minimum $1k donation (you can always do more) to fund the building of the house.

We generally have our volunteers book their own flights. We will give you suggested flights and your arrival dates. On this trip we ask everyone arrive on the 8th We will begin building on the 9th. Most people will be departing on the 12th.

Costa Rica Build Trip Itinerary July 8–12, 2026
July 8: Arrival Arrive in Costa Rica, settle in, and meet the team over dinner.
July 9: Build Day 1 Begin construction on a home for a local family in need.
July 10: Build Day 2 Continue building and connect with the family you're serving.
July 11: Adventure Day Celebrate with a waterfall hike and explore Costa Rica's natural beauty.
July 12: Departure

What’s Included
Your $1,000 deposit secures your spot and covers:
All meals during the trip
Hotel accommodations
Local transportation
Entry and guided tours of the local sites

To reserve your spot, you’ll submit a $1,000 deposit that covers all meals, transportation, hotel accommodations, and excursions during the trip. In addition to the deposit, we ask of a minimum $1,000 donation from you or your business to help fund the materials and labor for the home build — this generosity is what makes the project possible.
